AA New Britain outfielder Rene Tosoni will compete in this year’s Futures Game in St. Louis on July 12th. The left-handed hitting outfielder from Canada will play for the World Team.
Tosoni, who will turn 23 ten days before the game, has been pushed quickly through the Twins system. On the year, he is hitting .266/.375/.477 with 12 doubles, three triples and nine home runs. Earlier this month, I named him the Twins #10 prospect.
