Weekly Minnesota Twins Podcast

also available at

You’ve read about the TwinsCentric Offseason GM Handbook, and as the World Series now has a team that is one win from a title, the Handbook will be available very soon. It is currently available for pre-orders for just $5.99. When the World Series ends, it will become available at $9.99.

So, sure, you can listen to the ever-popular Gleeman and the Geek podcast, but before you do, you might want to try out the Weekly Minnesota Twins Podcast. You can listen to me and the North Dakota Twins Fan talk about really important Twins topics too… AND we get cut off at 45 minutes.

So sure, you can be one of the millions that listen to Gleeman and the Geek, or you can feel special and be one of a few dozen to listen to the Weekly Minnesota Twins podcasts. This week, we discussed the incredible pitching of Twins minor leaguer and Team Canada hero Andrew Albers who last night led Canada to a 2-1 victory over Team USA in the championship game of the Pan Am Games. We talk about the Arizona Fall League, the Caribbean Leagues (which three Twins organization players will now join Joe Benson and play with Aragua?). We talked about Joe Nathan, the Twins biggest areas of need, available options in the bullpen, middle infield, health issues and so much more!

Really, it’s a pretty decent show. Sure, when you listen to Gleeman and the Geek, you get to hear two smart people talk about the Twins. On my podcast, whenever I have a guest, you get to listen to one smart person talk to me about the Twins. This week, it was the North Dakota Twins Fan. Last week, it was Twins minor league pitcher Kyle Gibson. And hey, my podcast has been around for years, rather than months. And it may make it a few more weeks, depending on ratings. We’ll see!

If we pre-order (I have done so); how do we receive the download? Do we receive it via e-mail or do we go to a website to download it? What you did last year is excellent and so that is why I pre-ordered this year.

Seth, Always have loved your podcasts and have downloaded virtually each one for the last couple years. There is not a single “media/blog type” who knows the entire Twins orginization like you do and it’s not even close. Appreciate your “gut” analysis and for the most part sticking to traditional statistics. I would consider bringing in Jack Steal from time to time on your podcast. The polar opposite approaches makes it interesting.

    Hi Seth,
I, too, have downloaded and listened to nearly every podcast you have done in the last two years. Thank you very much for your time and dedication!

Speaking of the AFL, did you ‘look’ at the Gameday site for yesterday and see that Hicks hit a >410 home run TO THE OPPOSITE FIELD! I realize it was right handed, but I think it is an indication of how special this ‘raw’ player is! It also shows he recorded an out outside the fence, but I didn’t see any mention of it in the game log. Have you been getting any insider information on Hicks’ performance in the AFL? How about Chris Hermann?

If you have Jack on your show in the future, could you put it in the tag line somehow? That way we can be sure to miss it, or not to miss it.
